Hi, I'm Usama.

I'm a pharmacist based in Melbourne and a co-founder of PharmAssistAU.

A lot of what I'm interested in comes from everyday pharmacy work: customers waiting to hand in a script, someone unsure where to find a product, and the team managing requests while prescriptions need checking.

At PharmAssistAU, I'm working with the team to make those steps easier. I spend time thinking about what customers need to do, where they get stuck, and how that fits into the pharmacy's workflow.

I'm also learning about AI in healthcare and what goes into making healthcare software: where data goes, which requirements apply, and where AI can be useful while people stay involved in the decisions.
